Social media no longer feels social. Most platforms prioritize algorithms, permanence, and performance, making sharing feel public, pressured, and impersonal.

We asked

How might we design a social app that helps people feel closer,

Expressive Profiles.

Profiles are built from modular “widgets” (music taste, goals, interests, personality).

Live Posting: The “Aha” Moment.

Live posting allowed users to see content appear in real time.
This created the feeling of being “in a room” with others.

Frictionless Posting in the Feed.

Posting happens directly inside the feed—not behind a modal or separate screen.
